Crosstalk occurs.

One or more system cable pairs may be improperly terminated. Visually inspect the system cable

connections for accidental crossing of the cable pairs or grounds.

A defective handset/speaker amplifier printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) can cause numerous

problems. If the Page/Party

station is not functioning properly, it may be worthwhile to try replacing

the handset/speaker amplifier.
